IBTSS.

The M11x is everything a radio needs to be but Airtronics got STUPID and the Rx is not HV ready. No lipo unregulated.

If they fix thier Rx, and come down $150 bucks less.........

The DX3r works very well, can handle high temps (unlike Futaba), and has a RX thats Lipo ready. Costs alot less than the M11x or 4pk.

Its steering wheel is fugly, deosn't have a vibrating pit timer, and it uses queer looking silver plastic. I haven't found a trigger tension adjustment. The brakes are kinda stiff. Can't adjust brakes on the fly (stiff switches). Cheap Horizon hobby feel and look.

I'm still running a tattered M8 with Novak synth module (that if it gets any warmer its going to melt) and Hitec synth Rx. Can run lipo unregulated with old rusty, I don't know how F and At can charge 400+ for something that can't handle real batteries.

Unpatiently waiting for the radio companies to get their acts together before i buy a new radio. I'm due badly.

I think I'll ride it out and see if a new Spectrum radio comes out for Christmas.

dx3r is great. I get zero twitching with the dsm2 system. Batteries last forever, light as a feather, has every adjustment you could need as a racer. And for the price I think its a no-brainer. If you got big hands they even got an adjustment for it. My vote as best radio out. Everyone has personal preferences but this is 100% best for the money radio available.

I haven't owned any other nice radios so my opinion may not help at all.

However, what I will tell you is since buying my DX3R I am extremely happy. If there is a better radio out there, please let me know. For a new guy like me it is extremely intuitive, easy to use, light in the hand and overall just great.

Do I have anything to compare it to? No, but so far I have not found one thing I don't like about the DX3r.

I think the dx3s will allow monitoring features such as engine temp etc.????

The 3r has a faster frame rate than the 3s.

Don't fall for the telemetry nonsense. I can use my psychic powers to tell you your telemetry readings right now.

Your motor will soon spin fast...........and get hot. There ya go, and twice as accurate as the 3s.

M11x is the way to go, ive owned the m11 and Dx3r and still using my m11. The dx3r isnt heavy enough and has that cheapy feeling. Also ive heard the
m11x has the Dx3r beat in response time

Nope, it beats the Dsm2 DX3S in response time. The Dx3r is still a little bit faster.

Enjoy that voltage regulator.

I use a m11 but i got to molest a M11x and it's nice. Lighter but still balanced. comes with a rechargeable pack, not a lipo but doesn't really matter unless you get hung up on stuff like that. It has a cool feature when you switch your cars it will failsafe till the model is selected. If i was getting a new radio that would be it ! The dx3r is alright i have used it but it just has a cheap feel and the brake isn't as nice. A M11 gives that hand to car connection like no other.
