Fuel shelf life and breaking in a new engine
Ok due to recent changes in my life I've had a brand new hyper 8.5 pro, brand new GO 7p, and 4 litres of unopened quality fuel made here in Australia sitting all ready to go(ABOUT 8 MONTHS) and break in.
Will this fuel be safe to break the engine in?
I Must add also that I've kept the fuel in a dark cool place for about 70% of the time, but it has lost allot of its pinkish colour.
Thanks for any advice.
Jonro.

Shouldn't be a problem!
give the container a good shake before opening and you are good to do.
For the engine break in check the sticky "break in bible" followed by tuning bible for some good tips!

I agree about fresh fuel. But most of the main stream fuel is prob at least 2-4 months old before it ever gets into the end user's hands and who knows what conditions it was stored, shipped or handeled before it got to you. I know the fuel I get from coldfusionfuel.com is made to order so I can't be any fresher. I would say 8-12 months for fuel if it is handeled properly. If you call the mfg they should be able to tell you how long their fuel lasts. If you do decide to use it definitely give it a good shake like mentioned above. I shake my bottle every time I fill my bottle.
