Does anybody know how to glue tires properly? Any help would be apreciated.

Although it may not help you today my shop is doing a "tire" prep and glue video.

Does anyone else think the pro-line video is a little off the mark. He only glues the tires in 4 spots around the rim and lets the capillary effect do the rest?? I like to make darn sure that my tires are glued all the way around, and I know if I only applied glue 4 times a side they wouldn't be no matter how much capillary action is taking place

If you use a high quality, super thin glue(like Ofna Fusion), it doesnt take very much glue or time. I only glue in 4-6 spots as well. I go through a minumum of 4 sets of tires a month and have never had a bead come loose.

I can add that if the tires are over glued it is a major pain in the arse to get them undone !!!!!

I hate glueing tires as well but I can;t afford to guy premounted all the time.
