There is already a nice thread on this clutch...
I already have it but I have not tested it yet - from first sight it's quality looks very very good.

Default leary about cost

Not too sure about the cost. I believe you have to buy their shoes and springs. A good 4 shoe setup for my 8ight-t costs me about $60.00 or less (Flywheel = $20.00, Hardened aluminum shoes= $20.00, Springs =$10.00, hardware kit =$10.00) But then if I dont screw up the flywheel, I am just paying for another screw set and shoes for the rebuild. I can get about two weekends out of a setup. I have three spares so Ii think I am ok. I have a couple spare bells too but I think I have only replaced one or two this whole season. Takes me about 5 minutes to build up a clutch anyway. I am always for a better mousetrap but I think my stock style suits me just fine.

Smitty,

I will try to help you out. Yes this is an awsome clutch check out all the reviews on SGRID.

elkman,

I am also going to help you out. These prices from AMAIN.

Ascendancy is 54.99 for the complete clutch with 3 sets of springs to tune. No need to buy anything else. It last 2 to 3 times the life of the losi clutch which most will tell you they only get about a gallon on or maybe two weeks like you have said about your setup.

Now for some prices from A Main
Fioroni Turbo sliding clutch = 56.99 (not even 4 shoe system)
Werks Adjustable 4 Shoe = 66.99 that is 12.00 more
Firoroni Vario 3 shoes system = 60.99
Firoroni Quattro 4 shoe = 62.99
Rekward Tuning 3 shoe = 68.99
LOSI 4 Shoe = 4 shoes = 28.93 + Flywheel 16.99 + Nut 6.79 +Springs 3 sets = 15.27 TOTAL = 67.98 Which is 12.99 more then the ASCENDANCY Clutch.

If you need more help please ask.

Damn, this thing looks awesome. Anybody try it on a RC8B yet?

The problem with the RC8 has always been the flywheel is offset rearward to clear the rear brake rotor.

Anyone??

My losi set-up last Gallons not weekends.....IF you stall a clutch properly it will reward you with Long life and little hassle's....If you stall the crap out of the clutch you will get excessive heat and the shoes WILL slag out....there's no difference from this clutch set-up to the Losi to the M2C...they will All offer long life if set-up properly.
