There isn't anything complex inside an engine. Its not like its a servo or anything.

Carb isn't anything more than a couble needle screws and o-rings. The engine itself really deosn't have anything fragile in it as long as your clean and careful.

I know. I just dont like to open them up. Its one of my quirks. I am an auto technician so I do work on much more complicated engines than ours.

In the past I usually just run a case of fuel or so through an engine and sell it before I run into any issues. Nowadays I dont really have the money to do that anymore so I am gonna to have to start getting into them.

My last Ninja I expected to rebuild it and keep for a while. It started making a bearing noise in qualifying but I tried to stretch it and run the main anyway and it came apart and ruined the engine. I am about 3 gallons into my new one and plan to probably get into it and replace the bearings and rod after another gallon or so...I probably just get a new one and save this one for backup though.

I have a WS7 L2G Turbo with around 7 gallons through it and there is no play at all. I think I'll stick with RB.

Forget that, I run SH engines,seal it, break in with a heat gun and forget it. Next time it is opened in in the landfill by the bulldozer. If you by a 3 to 4 hundred dollar engine and the rod goes after 1-2 gallons sent it back to the them!!
XRAY XB9. Rubber tires with foam inside and super glue to keep them on. Cheap, but fast radio, high dollar servos, savox, mostly.
Cheap .21 engine. Modern starter box, finally!
