nothin special- id watch you filament in the glow plug. if it breaks loose when the engine is running your engine will be destroyed.

In all the years of running Picco plugs I have never seen them once drop a coil....we run Picco plugs past 2 gallons all the time, by far the best glowplugs I have ever used, and IMO the only plugs that tune correctly in the Picco turbo engines....

oh and i use the picco hot plugs in mine and i just now started my 5th gallon on this engine and the same plug i broke it in with just now quit.. so the picco plugs are the best to run in it IMO.

If you really want to try a good pipe for the JPX .21 you should try the RE10 from LOSI. Ballistic speed!!!!! 10 plus minutes of run time. I quickly change the 086 set up and will be racing the RE10 from now on. This pipe is super fast and the fuel efficiency on a 6 mins quals was fantastic!

Just ran my Clockworked jpx today, rich tune temp at 90c and still made it round it almost 11 minutes. You gotta love that.
Oh and that was with the Dynamite 086 pipe Maximo recomended. Past two gallons on the engine, and it sings like a banshee, and can idle the sun black. Still running on the plug that came in it.

Well this has been an interesting read im waiting on an extreme rc mods jammin jpx21 plus engine to replace the jammin jpx21 i have been running for 60 plus litres now and after the 15 litre mark i changed the rod to a knife edge modded rod, put in some ceramic bearings and have been getting 11 plus minutes running 30% race fuel all year round and up to 13 minutes when the weather was just right so im hoping the new engine after modding will give just as good a run time.
With most of our series events and state events we run 10 minute heats so if an engine cant make 10 minutes on a tank then it is not going to get used thats for sure, lots of jx ninja'a, sirios and nova 21+4 engines running around here in australia.
I have been running the 086 myself but would not mind having a 2nd pipe to choice from time to time, will keep you posted on the run times here once the 8litre run in is completed...
