I have a jpx 21(not the plus). tunes great and runs even better. only prob is that it lean bogs at full throttle, for a couple seconds. I have a mach carb and see that some nova carbs fit and some dont but would rather keep it stock. the bottom needle slide is smoooth. i went around and sealed it everywhere, should that be good enouph? I did a search and seen that sealing should help although wondered if i should try anything else too. thanks for help.

If your referring to my Nova carb on my JPX in truggy...its an older all alum body that has been turned down on a lath to fit.

sealing might help...tho it might not pending what the problem is.

i described it wrong, its not a lean bog.

at full throttle it stays at full throttle for 2 seconds then go back to idle(carb dont stick). im gonna try richin bottom and if still does it il grab new button, ceramics and go from there.

Does this issue get worse once the engine is fully warmed up ? I think I know exactly what is happening

I normally seal every engine i get and didnt this one. i was running 086 with short header. switched it 2 tanks ago for 053 and long header for the indoor season. Any other pipe youd suggest? il seal the carb base and i have no doubt that this will resolve issue. if not il try different button.
