Not that the +4 is a bad engine as its is a very good engine, but its power output is nowhere near that of the Jammin, not even remotely close....

Well when you get that sea foam green dyno you can post the differences in engines. LOL!

WOW!!!, A custom built Dyno painted the same
color as a custom built Fender Stratocaster.
Please post some pics, when you receive it,

Jammin .21 plus

What kind of run times are you getting with this engine. And what pipe is the best to run.

Quad Racer 34 01-21-2010 12:09 PM

jp3's are good and 086 pipes

Quad Racer 34 01-25-2010 01:06 PM

anyone running the werks 2013 pipe with this engine inia buggy? if so what kind of runtime did u get?

Hey guys , I don't understand why people are saying this engine doesn't have good run time . While racing Saturday someone hit me & knocked my pipe off , my pit man fixed it & got me back on track but he lost track of my time . In a very muddy race i went 9 mins 30 seconds in buggy before running out of fuel . I still have the first gen . jpx. I was running a rb 2045 /192 pipe & header combo & was hard on the throttle as i was down 3 laps . Just thought i'd share with someone considering this engine . Way powerful & yes good run times .

I agree. it gets very good milage. mine stock w/086 gets 10min and runs at 200 on 30% in trug.

If im club racing i dont worry about run time to much.I have not really timed this pipe, but have raced with it.With this engine you realy need to be smooth with the throttle or run time WILL suffer.I like my engines to have a lot of power and run real crisp, and this engine delivers.

where can i find different size carb inserts for this engine?

petevette 02-04-2010 06:57 AM

Hi guys, I have about 2.5-3 gallons through my JPX Plus. The engine runs awesome, but last night I heard the main bearing. I am going to order a TKO replacement bearing for it, but wanted to get your input. Is a ceramic bearing better for this application or just a standard bearing?

Also, has anyone else had to replace the main bearing and if so, how many gallons did you have through it?
