Default Travel on a Plane with RC

I am taking a trip in a few months and I want some advise on what is ok to take on the plane (carry on) and what I should check. Batteries, charger, remote ect. Also how do you guys pack your RC for flight when you check your bag. I dont want any trouble from The Stupid Administration (TSA) Thanks.

I hear the best thing to do is to ship all your rc gear to your destination via ups/fedex. No trouble at all at the airport.

I travel with my R/C gear All The Time!
I check in 2 50 lb bags:
Both Cars (completely assembled)
Sparte Parts, engines
Shock and Diff oils
Starter Box (unplugged)
Tool box

I carry on:
Cloths in 1 suitcase
Radio in case

Knock on wood I have never had an issue except for the one time I accidentally left a can of WD-40 in my checked luggage. (No Aerosols)
I've heard of some people loosing there Oils. I just have them kinda hidden where it's a pain for them to get to. Never have lost them.
I have done this over the past three years over 50 times. They 75% of the time will look at the Radio after it passes through the scanner but once they swab it they always let it go. Could be a good idea to bring an R/C Mag with you on your carry on just in case you need to reference something.

Good luck in your travels!
