I applaud the Taco. Nice work. As long as you learned something, that's what counts. Well....that plus the extra coin to fix it. LOL.

I've seen worse.

1. When you find your wrist pin laying on the track, you know you F'ed up.

2. When even your throttle servo is in multiple pieces, you know you F'ed up.

3. When you think you fixed everything after a hard crash but the car still doesn't handle. You rebuild the car again during the week only to find that the only arm on the car that didn't break (and so wasn't replaced) is actually bent. Yes bent but not broke plastic arm, you know you F'ed up.

4. When everyone who finds a part on the track asks if it is yours first, you know you F'ed up.

5. When you not only have to buy parts for your car but also have to pay for a new window in the store across the parking lot, you know you F'ed up.

I feel your pain.

A couple years ago I was running a new 8b, werks b7 pro and 2013 at leisure hours.
I lost battery connection going down the straight.
I hit the cinder block wall square on at full song.
There was nothing left and I think the marshal that was standing there pee'd down his leg, lol.

lesson learned, stronger return spring needed.

That was years ago at a parking lot onroad race. The guy had a radio failure of some sort and the car went wide open and right under the outside wall. It then continued wide open and straight as an arrow all the way across the parking lot. We could all see what was going to happen as it was heading straight for the little ramp in the sidewalk for wheelchair access. He couldn't have drove the car to do it this well. It went right up the dead center of the ramp, caught air and right into the laundromat window. Busted the car and window in a glorious manner

LOL. Love it. I got one, I got one. Kind of like the runaway wingracer described.

1. When you have to replace the aluminum garage door across the street cause your T-maxx batteries weren't charged, you know you F'ed up.

Apparently Integy aluminum bulkheads are tougher than aluminum garage doors. Nasty hole in that door!!!

This thread is getting pretty funny !

I thought I was going to have a run away today. Truggy jumped forward at WOT and then the fail safe kicked in. Damm radio does stuff like that sometimes. Guess thats what I get for buying used stuff.

ooooh man, you better look for frayed wires on that throttle servo. Plus re-check the bind in your radio. Double check how your failsafe's are set. Yikes. Batteries charged too.

Funny thread
At my local track (Loganville RC) a month or so ago a RC8 went straight WIDE OPEN into a solid wall of creosote railroad timbers it was not salvagable
I saw another buggy runaway and jump a large berm into the woods runaway.
I have always been super anal retentitive about failsafes and if my radio system didnt have one then I would run an external one.
My M11x has a pretty sweet multiple failsafes
