The guy says $300. Seems high to me what you think?

raced twice? 300 is a great deal! there isn't much difference between the 08 and 09 editions anyway. get a picture of the chassis wear, that's a good indicator if he's telling the truth about how many times it's been run. I've seen supposedly 3 run cars with the bottom of the chassis entirely scraped up. Also, all I've upgraded from my 08 was the new fuel tank, other than that it's all stock and seems to be running better the older it gets.

I finished 1st at this last weekends state series race with my 08 808

yes, it can be tuned down. my buggy has sooo much steering that I just turned down the ExP on my radio so it doesn't turn more than I need it to. Once you've driven it a couple times it becomes smooth as butter!

I've always wondered why the resale price for an xray 808 was so low? For the price, and the quality, I bet your getting the best used car around for that. I can tell you that a used kyosho mp9 that may fetch 500 used is in by far worse condition than a used xray going for 300.

Twitchy it can be but the reason being the wieght of the buggy and setting it up to stiff can easily be done (because its so light) amplifying the twitchy effect. But the way it jumps and accelerates is incredible! Locally I have alot of the guys running the 808 that are new drivers or only about 2 years into racing. They love the car and some of them just from switching to the 808 moved them up in the ranks on the first drive! Its that good... I also have one here kinda for sale..... It was going to be a brushless conversion but im not sure if ill have the cash to fill it...Good Luck on your purchase!

I have an 08 808 Euro Champ for sell as well, I'm asking 300.00, have to leave bargaining room. So yes that is about right. Mine is at two or three races as well. These buggies hold up better than losi, parts are better. The buggy cost a lot more new as well.
