Lightened Outdrive for Losi 8ight
 
I was thinking of buying a set for my buggy for all three diffs but are they worth it do they really make a difference in proformance. thanks.

Anything that frees up rotating mass can't be bad for racing. The performance gain is small as far as what you will tuly notice. But decreasing rotating mass in theory will give you a faster snap take stress off the engine and lower temps and increase fuel mileage. How much you will notice will not be much it will give you satisfaction that's the biggest thing I noticed when I swithed them. The bottom one is that t can't hurt any so why not.

Save your money. If the ones you running become worn enough to be replaced then I would upgrade at that time.

less rotating mass should mean a little better acceleration I think......I have no idea how they hold up.

They aren't just lightened drives they are HD drives.

I have had mine on for over 5 gallons now and they look brand new. Compared to the stock outdrives which started to look wore out where the dog bones connected after 5 gallons these are way better.
