New Jato 3.3 Break in Questions.
Is the temperature break in method, (sticky in this forum) ok for the traxxas Jato 3.3?
I noticed I can't turn the motor by hand once it gets to TDC. The easy start works fine though and it runs good, sounds a little raspy or rattley, but All my new engines sounded like that during break in. Is the sticking normal? And I cant turn it past TDC even with the glow plug out.
Also, does anyone know the factory settings for this car. I know they would be too rich but I don't want a burned up motor before I can experience 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. LOL

tried to incorparate
I kinda used both methods. I ran it like traxxas said but when it reached 200+ degrees i shut down and let cool at BDC. it worked great. its all tuned and popin wheelies.
This car needs ALOT of room to run. I got a 1/4 mile of parking lot thats lit at night and I got cops watchin and drinkin thier coffee at the dunkin nearby.
They seem amused by the speed of the car, I swear I saw one of them trying to clock it with the radar gun. LOL now all i need is aluminum upgrades.
