Default Is my V Spec rod ruined?

Hey guys would you be able to tell me if my v spec rod is ruined by this video. There seems to be some slop in the connecting rod.

EDIT: Nevermind just going to buy a new rod. Thanks

If you have to even ask that question, replace it. Cheap insurance.

From the sound, it sounds like you have the same problem that a fellow racer encountered with his. It was suspected that the hole in the connecting rod was wallowed out but upon further inspection, it turned out to be the conrod pin on the crank was worn...

Your video is nothing but a blur. But if that slapping
noise is coming from the bottom of the rod. Then,
yes it is shot. You may want to pull the crank and
mike the con rod pin also. It may be hammered too.
