Best way to shrink the heat activated wire wrap?
 
Is it a hair dryer, a heat gun, a soldering iron or something else entirely?

any heat source would do. I personally use a sortering iron but lighter would do just fine as long as you do it very carefully.

I use a hobbico heat gun.
Same heat gun for airplane building and warming my engine.

just dont let the flame sit on the shrink, or youll burn it. just run it back and forth over it till its shrunk
