What is this 1/8 chassis?
 

I believe this is a 1/8 mugen chassis I got in a lot of 3 cars I bought, I would like to rebuild it. Does anyone know what it is?

A better photo would help, but it is not a Mugen. It looks like an Ishima or something european as Mugen never laid there shocks down that har to my knowledge.

yes, It does look like the pirate, it has the same front curve gaurd. I am not sure why it has MUGEN across the bottom but anyone could engrave this with cnc these days I guess??? first day up, we will see , someone here has to know!
Also, I have never seen another 1/8 with the spur joined to the rear diff and the drive shaft go all the way to the front with no center diff so to speak

I'm not sure since I didn't race offroad back then but I think Mugen had a car like that WAY back in the day. I'm talking early 90's here.

It is a Mugen Sport Buggy from early 90s.

certainly looks like it!
I cant find any close up pics of the mugen super sport buggy chassis to completely verify but this looks like it.
The chassis I have has all the running gear in mint condition! I am not sure how a race buggy has no scratches on either bump gaurd or the bottom of the chassis? No dirt on anything, no scraped screw heads or anything??
Maybe someones back up/ parts car back in the day
I was going to macgyver something together to make it a basher but now Im not so sure what to do with it.
