Default Help Finding a Video

A couple of month ago some posted a video showing a truggy jumping into pit lane and the pit man caught it in mid air.

Does anyone know where I can find the link to this video?

It was at a big event.

That would be my video.

The clip you're looking for is at ~1:06. The driver is Ty Tessman. His father is the pit-man.

One of these days, I'll get around to editing and uploading more of the video I shot at that race...

Not sure if you're being serious or not...

I would advice against it. As was pointed out last time I posted this video, this is VERY dangerous. If someone else had been leaning out and not paying attention, it could have been very bad. Not to mention, it is considered illegal at many races, and depending on the rules / race director, may get you thrown out of the race.

That said, it was amazing to witness! The whole place went wild, and I even stopped filming for about 30 seconds (well, filmed the ground). After the race director calmed down, he did warn Tessman not to do that again.

BTW, thanks for the props. I'm still learning... Both the shooting and the editing.

Haha, thanks! Glad you like it.

That tabletop was a LOT of fun. It was rather intimidating during the first few laps I ran. A friend of ours who came along to watch / help summed it up nicely. His first words upon arrival were "why did they build a track around a mountain?" lol

Pity they had to cancel this year's event... I was really looking forward to it.

Here are a few more vids from the 2008 Manufacturer's Cup. These are not mine, so credit goes to the respective creators / owners:

That is an automatic DQ at most races. Leaving the ground entering pit lane is not appreciated. I have seen fights break out over that.

what about after getting gas, can your pit man launch you off onto the straight instead of the pit lane?

Lolz. @ 55-57 seconds into that video I can't stop laughing at the truggy that came in to pit but noone grabbed it......it just drove off

Most track with elevated pits have a limbo bar you have to drive under to reach your pit, if you come up the ramp too fast you just ping into that bar before becoming airborne. Usually its steel pipe.

See the pipe at this tracks pit entrance...err, exit but their is one on the other side to:
