Default What motors for starterbox

What motors can I use to replace the 2 - 540 motors that come stock in the mugen starter box?

I have a couple of extra 550 motors that are new. Will these work or is there something better?

if they fit in the mount, and the pinion fits on the shaft, they will work fine.

other than that, you could try some 750 motors like what traxxas makes

The mugen motors are 550 and yes you could use the 550 motors you have already, how ever I would recommend using traxxas titans 21 turn motor if you are looking to upgrade the box. Hope this helps good luck been there done this.
