What is difference betwen Standing and lying servo.
I mean i wanna know what is diference of driving servo betwen xray 808 and mbx6.
I see lot of buggy have lying servo for driving, but Hobao hyper7 and mugen mbx6 are designed standing servo. Do you think what drives better and least harmful for your servo. |
I believe lay down was put out for the lower center of gravity. But with the lay down design you get some slop and flex in the radio tray. You get less of that with a standing servo. Either way I don't think there is any noticeable difference.

All a myth thats all it was not heavy enough for low cg

A laying down servo in a 8 pound car won't make a noticable differance unless you're a national level driver. It's a marketing gimmick.

Actually most of the stuff they release these days are marketing gimmicks for most of us... give a MBX-4 to your local track hotshot and he will still whoop most of our our rears just the same ;) |
Well the biggest revolution in 1/8 buggies are countersunk chassis screws if you ask me.
