hi, I have bought kyosho dbx few days and this is my first nitro powered r/c car. When I slowly accelerate the car it stalls. How do I fix this problem

Hi, thank you for the advice, it doesn’t stall now on slow acceleration however I think I have messed up the sittings. The problem I am facing now is that it stalls when I accelerates hard and the starting is pretty rough.

now its not getting enough fuel.. crank it a 1/8-1/4 turn at a time and richen it up..

I like the Internet tuning guys lean it richen it lean it richen it no lean it lol.
I would suggest reading the tuning sticky at the top of the page there's allotslot of goog tuning info at most manufactures websites

Thanks guys it working much better now, since this is my first nitro car that is why I have many questions, how long does the glow plug lasts and how can you tell when to change the plug.

internet tuning obviously helped him out though?? wouldnt the tuning sticky be considered "internet tuning"??

he was obviously too rich...and then was too lean.....i think the advice given was perfect. And i think the results show that.

Not trying to bash anyone but i dont think the people that chimed in to help deserve the bashing either.....

btw, i dont want to get bashed but i believe the way to tell if you have a bad glow plug is if it doesnt start.

you can also read your glow plug to tell if your running it too rich or too lean.

It has to be a brand new plug to do that and once you have run a few tanks on it you will not be able to anymore.

Haha where's the bashing I just don't see it joking around maybe but not bashing. Some peeps are just a little to sensitive lol. And I would call the tuning sticky Internet learning which in my opinion was the best advice for him out of this thread.

ah yes... we all came together and helped out another newbie..



waseem- pull out the glow plug and put it in your glow ignitor and see if it "glows." if it does then its still good but if it doesnt than its garbage and time to change it.. also when the truck runs really bad and you cant seem to tune it then time to change the plug.
