Default 8ight-t 1.0 CVA question

Hey guys I'm kinda stumped on my friends 8t 1.0. The front CVA dogbone where it goes into the diff cup barely reaches into the cup. I replaced it with a brand new axle because the original one was a little bent and I thought that was the problem, but with the new axle it still barely gets in the cup. It works but its not nearly in as far as the other 3 axles. I changed the camber to help but it wasnt enough. Are there any tricks for this fix that I'm not aware of ? Any help would be much appreciated.
