Custom CNC Cooling heads?

Ok, some time back here on the forum...either here in Offroad or the f/s market...

There was someone that posted up some CNC'd cooling heads and was considering making them or would do custom work.

All I remember was the top fin had a nice, rounded crest right on top instead of being flat like your typical head usually is. There were a few pictured in his post; like 4-5 units.

Anyone remember this? If so please let me know who it was. Or if you know of anyone that does.

Never used one but I think you are talking about Donut Heads.

Yes, I believe it was Donut Racing. I bought one a few weeks ago and the workmanship is top notch. I haven't noticed any significant changes in the cooling performance over the stock GO head, but that's probably attributed to an air leak I had in the fuel tank.

Yeah I think that's them from what I remember.

Anyone else making nice heads these days?

You guys are correct it was Dean from donut racing. I've got one of his heads on a Go Tech 5 port and my temp went from 240-245 down to 215-220. Craftsmenship is top notch and very durable. I've rolled my buggy out front of my house getting the tune close before race day. A couple scuffs but no loose fins or cracks on this one;)
