Default need a quick asnwer

hey so i found out today that i have only had 5 bolts keeping the heat sink to my motor instead of 6(i have a sc8) would this of caused any problems to my motor. i have ran about 4 tanks with it since i bought it. i bought it used. i am going to the screw store and gonna pick up a new one

Prob not. Look at the head button, does it look like it was leaking by it and not sealing properly. Its a good thing you have soo many head bolts, the .21's I run only have 4 head bolts so one missing is more serious. I know a loose head bolt on a .21 will change the tune and make it inconsistent.

no there is no signs of leaks. and my tunes are pretty consistent. i may have to tweak just a little 1/8 of a turn. but the temperature today was 15 degrees cooler then it was when i tuned it last

It should be fine, just try to replace that screw ASAP. When you do replace it, you will need to loosen ALL the head screws and re-do the 6 (otherwise the head will be unbalanced) and remember to tighten them in a cross pattern

comment about going to the "Screw Store".
