i am looking to upgrade my current charger to one with more defined settings.
I currently only have nimh. I have also looked at the electrifly triton eq 2
any would help would be appreciated.

I use the triton eq. Its the best charger ive ever used. It has lipo balancing, ac\dc and is really easy to use.

+1 on the Hyperion 606i it is the best charger I have owned. I use to use a superbain 777 and then I upgraded my starter box to a 4s lipo and needed a 4s lipo charger (my 777 says it will charge 1-3 Cel lipo) so I purchesed the 606i and what a difference. I use to think the meter on the top of my glow ingnigtor was off because it would only go 1/2 way up in the green charged section. Then I charged it with the 606i and now it goes all the way up to fully charged on the meter. The 606i will charge any type of battery and it will cycle my receiver packs and glow ignigtors. It's silent and easy to use. I love this charger so much I am going to buy another when I go lipo in the receiver packs (I'm waiting for the new hitec hv servos to come out). Best charger around.

I dont have lipo and I've been using this to charge my starter box stick packs and receiver battery.

I've been using the Venom for almost a year now with great results, comes with adapters to charger pretty much any battery you can think of, charges and balances lipos, lots of features, only downside is it will only charge at 5A max...

I have 2 ICE chargers I run off one power supply. The ICE is a nice charger, I have had them for years. The one issue with the ICE I have had, is the raised buttons can develope contact problems once dust starts to get in the charger. You can take the side off and blow them out and hit them with electric motor spray and they'll come back. Other than that no problems.

Am I alone in thinking that the Hyperion 606i, Venom, Muchmore silent charger, Trinity I balence, and a few others are the same charger with slightly different programming??

I haven't tried all of those, but the ones I have, seemed really similar.

COBRARACING

There is a charger coming shortly with true 10 amp charge .software can say 10 amp but is it really?but anyway this charger is from Henergy the same company that has the new lifep04 6.4v rx packs.
