Default RC8 FT shock caps hit shock tower.

Anybody else notice this problem? If you use any of the inner holes (front and rear) on the shock tower, the shock caps hit the shock tower causing suspension binding and not allowing the m3 nut to be tightened properly.

Here is the RC8 thread, you may have better luck asking your questions in there.

But for your issue I think you may have something built wrong. Can you post a pic?

I'm pretty sure I have it built correctly. I think what has happened is now that the standoffs are "set in" to the aluminum shock tower they are not long enough.

Here are a few pics. Hopefully you can tell if it's built right or not.

I've ground the shock towers to clear the shock caps.
