Default Help please

I finally got my buggy running again and now it won't keep fuel going to the motor, I have had to pressurize tank by blowing through the line off of the exhaust in the past but it won't keep pressure. Everything looks to be sealed and tight, where do I need to look now? If I hold my thumb over the exhaust pipe and kind of slow it down it will run but only as long as I can hold my thumb there. It doesn't matter what I do with the throttle, nothing changes other than the rpm's. I am going camping and want real bad to take this and have some fun for the first time with it running.

the pressure returned nipple on the exhausts sound like it blocked - that or you have a leak some where.

replace all of you fuel line take out the filter if you use one

if that does not work - then check/replace fuel tank.

if that dont work - you may have a problem with the carb on the engine.

Thanks, I think I got it figured out, I bought some new hose and put it on and that is when the problem started, I put the old hose back on and it runs fine, the old hose is longer than the new piece I put on, they look to be the same diameter hose and they fit about the same, must just like the old hose.

Ok, I thought I had it figured out and I have learned alot more about these engines in the last 10 days. I have pulled the tank and checked it, no leaks, I have replaced the suspect back plate on my motor and then checked the motor for leaks, no leaks. I found the factory carb settings for the motor and tried them, along with almost every combination imaginable, didn't work. I can't even hardly get the motor to run at all, I am getting fuel and air to the carb but it won't fire. I can get it to run once in awhile but only for 5-10 seconds then it dies. Occasionally I get it to run and it lasts for as long as the tank (and my nimh hump pack) and then it won't restart and run the next time I want to run it. I am still not able to keep fuel going to the carb and I have checked everything and everything is air tight, hoses are fresh and tight, starting to think about giving up and buyin something brand new but can't bring myself to do it. Unfortunately I live in an area that doesn't have alot of hobby shops or people that know much about nitro motors.

Anyone out there have anything else I can try or suggestions as to what to look at next? I am pretty good mechanically and not afraid to tear stuff apart but I just need to know what to tear apart and what to look for. I am wondering if maybe I don't have enough compression on the cylinder but don't really know what I should be listening/looking for as far as that is concerned. The piston makes a light popping noise and there is some resistance when I rotate the flywheel by hand but I am thinking that it has been getting quieter and less resistance the more that I try to run it, could this be a pinch issue? I really don't understand what pinch is but I am guessing that it has something to do with the cyclinder, piston & sleeve, and compression.

Thanks, Uhgg

Set your needles back to factory settings and tune using the tuning bible on this fourm

Replace the glow plug and all the pipe and header gaskets and springs

I would personally replace the tank, just becuase you dont see the leak dont mean its not there
