Ofna 9.5 Violator 1/8th Nitro 4wd Buggy
 

How are these things? There is one for sale locally for a great price (i think) i don't even know how old these things are. All i do know is that there is nadda listed for parts at my closest LHS which scares me a bit to be honest.

Since you aren't looking for a RACE buggy it is probably ok. Not sure about parts availability. It isn't a very good car, but probably better than most "off brands" that you see on Ebay. I think it is based on the 9.5 but I'm not sure. Tough, but not a very good handling car.

It is called the "VIOLATOR" because it "violates" the rules from what I understand (too wide to be race legal.)

Hmmmm... the thing is, most of us only know the real race kits... and not much about the stuff like this. Hopefully someone can give you better info.
