Unhappy CRT.5 Discontinued

Noitce on Tower Hobbies that most parts for the CRT.5 are Discontinued or limited stock. Does this mean no more CRT.5? The new Ofna one going to take over?

Well it wouldn't surprise me. It's too bad, they are really fun to drive and tough to break too. They seemed pretty popular when they were introduced, but after that initial interest popularity faded fast. I haven't seen one other than mine on a track here locally in over a year.

I plan to keep mine, I've thought about selling it a few times because it's one more car to maintain but look through the CRT .5 thread and see how many people post on there to answer a question then say they've sold their's and wished they had kept it.

Tower isnt the end all be all ruler of the hobby haha. We actually contacted ofna and the truck and all parts for it will continue being made. Tower just discontinued it because it isnt a huge seller anymore.

yeah, i hate tower anyway, they never ship out an order after it is placed.

it always 2-3 days before thye let you know it has been shipped.

amain ships it withing a few hours if you order it in the morning . im sure other people do to, im just not searching for different places to shop unless i have to.

im always about buying it from my lhs whenever possible.

i love my mini jammin, i converted it with the blue groove conversion, and a mod i made for the battery because the velcro straps did not hold down to good.

it is fast, handles awesome, and great on the 10 scale dirt track. i like it much better now then i did when it was a nitro.

Alright, thanks guys, was looking at getting one and just went onto Tower to check out the availability of spare parts etc. and saw everything discontinued and thought that there would be no more CRT.5 becuase of the new Hyper. Didn't want to purchase a kit that was about to do no more
