I have to say, the 8ight buggy and truggy have been the toughest cars I have owned. I honestly couldn't tell you what to keep as spares because you may never open the package. Fortunately Losi cars are common and most shops have their parts. Maybe someone else can give you a list, but I know it will be short.

if you dont have the grease boots for the cvds. get those! because sometimes the cvd screw loosens and you lose the pin. they will help that to not happen. but other that that, what they said above^^^. clutch bearings especially. i havent broken anything else.

a screw kit, shock rebuild kit, and diff gaskets/orings. that's about it. Otherwiese, the only time i've had to replace stuff on my 8ight B/T is when something loosens and falls out cause i didn't tighten enough or put loctite. i've also, lost quite a few screws just from being careless. but i haven't broke a thing, and i crash hard a lot .

screw kit, clutch rebuild kit, spare spur gears, pipe springs and gaskets, rod ends, shock rebuild kit. I have arms front and rear, spindles, castor blocks, hingepins and stuff like that. I may never need them but I'll be damned if a $5 part is gonna keep me from racing. Its better to be prepared if you are serious about racing.

Default shock towers and servos

the stock shock towers are shit. i bought kingheadz and they are damned near bullet proof. also get better servos. the jr's that come with the rtr's are worthless. I run hitec's. you will need the front driveshaft that goes from the center diff to the front. i replaced mine at about 4 gallons. might think about what engine to run (if you have the mach 427 that comes with the rtr) i got rid of mine and now run a jp 5 port with ceramic bearings. also consider getting a radio tray stiffener. i love my 8ight1.0 but to do it again i would have bought the roller since i have replaced everything anyway.

all true if is rtr? no doubt. if rtr shock caps, hinge pins, shock rods(or at least keep a spare),possible chassis(rtr has nice flex). all together though i have found myself using 1.0 parts on my 2.0 in certain situations. iv fractured dogbones to worn out race roller shock caps and stripped arm ends(not from cross threading especially on 2.0, they are smaller diameter)...you name it things will happen. even in rtr form unless bought used i would replace nothing til its broke unless your serious about racing then keep stockpile(spare car). unskOken had a good realistic parts for spare reply
