Kyosho MP-6
Question for you Kyosho Buggy experts-will the shock stays from the Inferno GT fit my MP-6? Thanks, Don
|
No Kyosho expert, But have owned a Inferno GT and the shock towers on it were shorter than the buggies. But yes they will fit, it will just make a low-rider out of your MP6.
Might want to wait on a better reply before you buy them |
Thanks! The idea is to turn it into a GT-street. Like an Inferno GT or an Ofna DM-1. Don

That will work, if you want a 2 speed center like the GT has you will have to make the hole in the chassis for the spur gear bigger. and don't forget the body mounts.

Thanks, I'm going to order the parts tomarrow. Don

I just sold my Inferno GT and let a extra MP6 sports buggy go with it for parts.
I used Revo shocks on it, MUCH better than stock, you will need a shorter shock to go onroad, the buggy ones are too long. |
That makes sense at the rear-could I use 2 sets of fronts? Don
|
I think front buggy shocks are still longer than GT shock, I can't remember.
You can find Revo shocks cheap on ebay, I just sold a new set for $20 |
Front buggy shock are ok to use.

Great! Thanks,I'm trying to use what I have on hand. Don

Cool, my memory ain't as long as that shock:cry:

Well I got the parts in. The Inferno GT shock stays won't fit the MP-6.(Phooey!!!) Does anyone know if the transmission cases with the closer mounts(to fit the Inferno GT shock stays) will fit my MP-6? Thanks, Don
