Default New Glow Ignitor

I want to buy a new Glow Ignitor. I'm not sure which to buy. These are the two I'm looking at.

Hobbico Hot-Shot 2
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/14475

Hobbico Super Hot-Shot 2

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/14477

One has 5000mah battery the other a 1500mah battery.

Which one should I buy and why? I've got an RC8 with a O.S. Max .21 VZ-B V-Spec-T (P) Off-Road Competition Buggy Engine.

Thanks

Pete

This is the one I use - The charge lasts forever and the meter lets you know if you plug is bad. I wouldn't buy anything else.

I have the Hobbico Super Hot-Shot 2 and one with a meter. The hot shot is the one I like the most. it just seems to fit the plug better. the one with the meter seems to want to always fall over so I have to hold it in place.

I'm glad you like it but have you read the reveiws on it at A Main Hobbies.

seems like quite a few come with a bad battery.

Mine did

I kinda had a bad luck with all my subC cell powered ignitors.all batteries died quite fast. only my good old AA and D size powered ignitors always work

I have the Racers Edge and think it's horrible. It falls over like mentioned. The top part where your screw the cover with the guage for the battery has terrible threads for screwing in tightly. The plastic part over the guage has a little crack in it. And the battery lasted me a year.

What mha am I looking for is the question because I like the hotshot 2 standard but it only has 1500 mha as compared to others that have much higher. Will this be hot enough to start the motor.... will it not last long. What do the higher mha's by me? I liked the one where you just drop a d battery in it too. That way I can either use a rechargeable or a normal d-battery.
