Default Need the BEST Battery Charger

Hey, I am looking to buy a battery charger. I seem to use every kind of battery imaginable between my RC Cars and my RC Helicopters. I am looking for a single battery charger that can charge any kind of battery that you could possibly throw at it... and do a really good job doing it. I want a charger that is also as easy to use as possible and does not require that you buy a ton of extra adapters before it can even do its job. Does such a Mythical Charger even exist?

I picked up a triton charger and so far am very happy. It's ac/dc and it'll charge up to a 6s and balancers come with it. It'll do life, lipo, nicad, nimh,pb.
long story short a person should check this charger out the only one better imo... hyperion but I did not care for issue's with it

You didnt state if you needed ac/dc or have a power supply. You said best charger so I assume you have a power supply.

Graupner Ultra Duo Plus 50, it's arguably one of the best currently. Nicd, Nimh, Lipo, LiIo, Limn, Life and lead acid. AC/DC, 120/240v, you only need a PC power cord to use for 120v. The Duo is a Dual charger, yes the Hyperion Duo is a good charger, but it does not have all of this and have a built in power supply.

1 ~ 18 NiMH / NiCd Cells.
1 ~ 7 LiPo / LiIo / LiMn / LiFe Cells.
1 ~ 6 & 12 Lead Acid (Pb) Cells.
Charge current: 0.1 ~ 10 A.
Discharge current approx. 0.1 ~ 10 A.

It's not cheap and it's not cheap for the International shipping, but you said the best. The shop I listed is where I purchased mine from, smooth transaction. Dealing with DHL was the biggest pain in the purchase. Anyway PM if you have any questions about it that aren't answered online anywhere. You can also get on Graupners website but it's a bit unfriendly.

the best charger would be the hyperion 610i duo. I has the ability to charge 2 batters at the same time and they can be different types of batterys.
they will handel up to a 6 cell lipo and 8 cell nimh. They will also charge nicd and pb. its like having 2 chargers in one compact package.

In addition to charging it will discharge 2 packs at 10 amp each.

It's like having 2 chargers, 2 dischargers and a power supply in one package.

Sorry couldn't resist!!!

The problem with most AC/DC chargers is they are usually capped at 50 watts. If you go to charge a high capacity 4S LiPo you won't be able to charge it at a 1C rate. The Hyperion Duo can charge 180 watts per channel (180W + 180W). The Hyperion needs a seperate power supply. I have the Duo and absolutely LOVE it!

True on watts, however it's got 120w max using the built in PS, 180x2 with DC. Also having a charger that, dare I say "goes both ways" , is extremely convenient.

In my 2 newest EP lipo packs, there are clear and specific instructions not to use the MRC SuperBrain.
