Ofna Force .28 carb

i have a ofna force .28, but it wont stay tuned for nothing. Is this problem the engine or the carb. And if its the carb can i just put a different carb on it like an O.S. one because i heard they stay tuned very well

The Force 28 runs great, you must have something else going on.

1) How old is the motor?
2) Did you check for air leaks?
3) Check the clutch?
4) Try different fuel, just to be sure.
5) Check and or replace the glow plug.
6) Reset the carb and see what happens.

It may be you just have the carb out of balance

One more thing on that list is make sure the pipe is sealed. If it's a RTR rig get a new 089 pipe and it will screem. But then again 4 gal. in and it's toast anyway.:tire::tire:

wat do u mean 4 gallons and it will be toast. Are you saying that the pipe will only last 4 gallons?

AZrcdriver 06-30-2009 08:59 PM

I guess he is saying the motor will only last 4 gallons.

That I don't know but I have around 2 1/2 to 3 on mine right now.
Mine came in a X1 CRT ready to run and I'm running it until it dies.
I have a JPX 28 ready to go in its place or will put a 21 instead.

The stock Ofna pipe with the silicone coupler was replaced with a JP-1 and now a Dynamite 053 (more for the JPX) but I wanted to see what it did for fuel mileage.

I got hit hard enough last weekend by another racer to break 1/4 of the top fin off the head and crack the fin below to where it will break very soon.

dang i know how you feel i got hit hard before with my ofna lx 1 it broke both front lower arms, but the other guys was MUCH worse because his was just a 10 scale. But how is a differnt pipe any different than the stock one??

The stock pipe can come apart to easy and once the silicone sleeve gets fuel coated it will not stay tight. I bought a new coupler but didn't put it on.

Changing pipes can change performance and fuel mileage on a motor. Pipes are tuned to do different things such as help create more low end, mid range or high end power depending on the pipe.

You want to match pipe to the motor and track type for best performance.
