I have a set of Raptor's that I won in a drawing and they are great on a hard packed track. They are very similar to Losi Taper Pins. I have not run them much as of yet so I cannot comment on durability, but they stick well.

Panthers are awesome treads. They are THE go to tire in 95% of the situations I run in. They just have some kind of edge over the competition. My tire collection is 50/50 Proline and Panther.

I have a set that came with my used Truggy.

What type of track are these tires best on. Blue-groove with a little moisture? bone dry?

Panther makes a tire for just about any situation you may run into, are long lasting considering how well they stick, balance better than proline & can be bought through panther on line at a normal price if you have the discount code. Have not tried the raptors yet but will soon. K's & K2's run very well on most tracks Like an all in one tire, packed wet to dry hard the k2's are pretty good & are comparable to but drive a little different than crime fighters.K1's are better than crimes in every situation for me,the way I drive but dont come up on sale anywhere ever. Gators are very good on truggy & boas on buggy are super.niether last as long as some of the AKA but stick better for me & are usually cheaper.

I wonder what Panther tires I got. They look like holeshots but they say "Panther" on the side

Take a look.

http://www.pantherteam.com/

If they look like hole shots then probably Raptors.

I use Gators and Boas on my Hyper 9 and they are very consistant, Gators have a nice drift into the corners and the Boas have good foward bite, I also use our Pl series Ofna foam inserts in yellow for the combo.

Panther Komodo Dragons (the original ones, with the single line of wider treadblocks on the center, no the Komodo Dragon 2's) are my favorite tire for a loose, dry, dusty track PERIOD. Nothing else worked as well as me on buggy. Unfortunately they don't make them for truggy.
