I hands down prefer the challenge of buggy. I just recently bought an mbx6T and the truck is so easy to drive, I mean just pin it and steer. The truck would score higher on the fun factor to me because it is so easy to drive as to where the buggy takes more throttle control and discipline.

Buggy. Truggy doesn't offer anything more except the ability to drive away from a greater percentage of crashes instead of being marshalled.

I race buggy last year and jsut got a truggy to race along with the buggy. Havent raced it but i have found it much easer to drive on the track. First race on Saturday so let see if I can keep up with racing two classes.

I drive both and can see with all honesty that for me, the truggy is way more fun to drive. It is so much more forgiving and at my local tracks the truggy class is a lot more laid back. It seems to me that most guys in the buggy class take it way too seriously, at least in my area. If you are a decent buggy driver, you will have no trouble going fast with a truggy. In my opinion, if you just race for the fun of it and have a decent truggy class at your local track, go for it.

Both are good, truggies handle the bumps better, and can put down the power easier. Buggies are more nimble, and easier to control in the air. Also, buggies have less wear and tear due to their lighter weight. Buggies do wear out their tires a bit faster though. Truggy tires last a bit longer.
Either way, you'd end up with something good.

G'Day Masher,
If you stick with buggies you will likely develop into a better driver. Once you are a bit older and you have got the cash get a truggy as well. Best of both worlds. Stick at it, you were an good beginner and it won't take you long to be driving faster.

Ive only got the buggy and cant imagine the truggy being anymore fun. I am pumped when I come off the drivers stand. I ran electric offroad for a couple of years and recently starting running nitro. To me there is no comparison between the 2. Nitro is the shizticket. Either one will be a blast.
