Broken Cooling Head on Macstar .28 - options?
I busted the top five cooling fins off my Ofna Macstar .28 on saturday during a hideous roll-over. Immediately the temps jumped from the 220s up to the 300s.
A new cooling head for this $100 motor costs $40 - pretty ridiculous. I found a new head for an Ofna Force .28 for $15, but it's a different part number and I assume it doesn't fit my mill. What are my options? Right now, I've repaired the head with JB Weld and it feels impossible to pry apart, but I assume lots of heat and vibration will change that... Thanks Dominic |
if the motor is only $40 i would just get a new one
