you get a build up of mud under the shock cap which can pop your bladder
so you need to pull the top off and clean it out all the time
for the average racer that only changes his shock oils every other time it just creates more work

People that use this mod, how they rebuild their shocks? Following the user manual?
Here in Italy we used foam, but every time bladders were broken...

So is the mod woth all the work are should i just stay with that i have? I have 3 sets of shock for my Buggy and was thing about doing this on 1 set just to have for bad Blown Out tracks.

The new Losi 8ight 2.0 EU model comes with these out of the box.

The part numbers:
LOSA5422 15mm Shock Cap Top, Vented
LOSA5431 Foam Compensator for vented shock caps

heard that, 3 words old tire foams...... E mailed Drake about the height of his foam inserts a while back his reply was 7mm, now I got a whole bag full of them from old tire foams.

cylinder shape or just a cube?
then how do you fill shocks? shaft up or down?
