Default Brake parts cleaner

I was just about to go and clean up my D8T and REVO from the weekend and I'm out of denatured alcohol, simple green and wd40 I thought I read on here that you could use brake cleaner if it was non-chlorinated and I do have a can of that. Does anyone know for sure if I can use it without harming the plastic of my cars?

After using what was listed above, you should also pick up some of the Pledge in the orange aerosol can. That stuff makes plastic look brand new.
