Just got a losi 8ight need advice
 
hey guys I just picked up a losi 8ight buggie tonight its a roller so I am need of a motor for it. Any suggestions on size , make

Depends on what your budget is and what your gonna do with it, ie race or bash. I am a fan of the RB motors, the C6 l2g to be exact...but its kinda pricey. You can never go wrong with a Vspec...

I plan on racing it. right now I have a hyper .21 turbo with a jammin 3 pipe I am going to put on it to get a feel for the car untill I figure out what motor I want to use to race

A C6 is waaaaaay to much engine for that buggy. I like RB's also a S5 L2G is plenty of engine for $200 less there about $250.

Picco Evo 3 $230
Nova BF $150
Nova +4 $299
Go Tech 7p $199
RB S5 $250

Any of the above engines would be plenty of engine for a buggy. Don't sleep on the Nova BF its the cheapest but its a beast. All of the above are quality performance and longevity type engines. You can't go wrong to much power is worse than not having enough.
