Default jato's brakes

i just broke in a new jato and when finished and started to run fast and wide open after the 5th tank of fuel,,the brakes do not work well at fast speeds they work well at lower speeds they are working correct it seems anyone have any info, is there a better system to replace the stock stuff ???? any info where to purchase

I don't think there's much you can do about that. It's a 2WD car (brakes are at the rear wheels only) and it goes 60+ MPH. The Traxxas forum has some posts about using antenna tube to increase the servo's action on the pull, which allows it to lock the brakes.

If you leave the brake system alone, you'll have slower stops that are controllable. If you use the antenna tube mod, you can lock the wheels when braking but won't have control because of it. I tried the antenna tube mod, but ended up removing it.

follow the link in my sig and have a look at the rear brake kit

made a WORLD of difference on my REVO! which uses the same rear brake's as your JATO

BUT you have to have a center diff on the revo to use the rear brake kit
