Best tires for short grass?
Hi
I have a losi eight 2.0 and i have a huge problem with traction on grass.
Our track is 90% grass 5% turf and 5% dirt. The grass is cut short. Im using AKA Crossbrace medium now and when our track is a little wet my car becomes a drift car. No traction at all. When its dry the traction is fine, but when the clock hits 9 am (think thats right, or is it pm? anyway its 21.00 here). Well then the track becomes dewy, and then its impossible to race, unless you WANT to drift.
And i cant find any tires thats created for grass. Some drivers at my track used some tires called grass snake, but even though the traction is awesome, its a little to much in the corners, they intend to roll over constantly.
Please help me!

plain and simple.. proline step ups... made for grass... you WILL not wheel spin with these at all.
best choice...i promise you... just watch the dirt part as they will make the car feel top heavy but with only 5% dirt... i highly doubt it.
knuckles will increase friction apon the car. i have tested them before... hit the gas to hard on grass and around you go.

Our club radiorally.org.au is an all grass club and the vast majority of drivers use Schumacher angle spikes with great success. If traction rolling is a problem, cut the outside row of pins off.I use the yellow compound with yellow venom inserts and change my camber on the day to stop to much side bite.

Thanks again guys.
The proline knuckles and the proline step-ups looks awesome. The step-ups is almost like the angled spikes but a bit smaller so it wont side-bite in corners.
Does anyone race with Louise tires?. They have a tire called Spikes. Looks a bit like the step-ups. And they dont cost much either.
Is soft, medium or hard best for grass?. I have always thought that harder tires fits better on soft tracks, but am i wrong?
