Shuts Off
 

After starting my truck. When I gas it it shuts off. What can I do to keep it running?

Does it bog and then shut off?
Or does it just cut off?

Check your idle gap. Should be .5mm to 1mm open.

its really small. ok here we go... I have had alot of trobles with starting it up. now that I can start it up 9/10 once i get it started it cuts off. my lhs moved my high speed all the way in and then 3 turns out. could that be the problem? I have aq O.S. .18 CV-R

Maybe to rich if your idle gap is set right. lean out your top end a tad and see if it stays running. Also read the top thread posted here by Houston. It's all about tuning:nod::nod:

Not to be a you know what but I wont be reading it. Do you have a video? I read right to left and its very hard to even read the threads and posts on here.

Are you letting the engine get up to temp before you give full throttle?

Ron Paris is considered to be one of the best engine guru's ever. All the youtube videos really dont teach much. Try leanign the LSN.
