Default Starter Box Question

I got a Dynamite Plat. Quick Fire. Its so stiff that it VERY hard to start my truck. Is there away to un-stiffin the springs or MOD it so when I turn on the box it's running? Thanks

I had the same trouble. I had to cut about 4 coils off the springs. Then it was perfect. I could not believe how hard you had to press down before the mod. I could have snapped a arm before the wheel would engage. You could wire it to spin when you hit the power button but that sounds inefficient and rough on the motor. Cut the springs and you will be fine.

What kinda car you bumping with it??

I got a RC 10GT. With a O.S. .18 CV-R. I came up with a idea to use two POLICE HANDCUFF ZIP TIES and zip tie it down so that when I flip the switch all I got to do is put the truck down and grap it. I would like to try your way frist. but I dont want to cut the springs down. What do yall think?

I found some old buggy shock springs that had about half
the spring rate as the ones that came with the starter
box and cut them to the length I needed.

I will try the zip ties 1st. I might want to sell this one later and get a better one. If that doesnt work then I will be cutting!!!
