titans are 550's not 770. they are direct fit...whenever my backup losi box blows il be using titans. you should really reconsider a truggy box w/lipo. i was the same as you(not wanting to switch)and on my 3rd losi box(and many sets of motors)and really liked the specs of the 8ight box. last july i grabbed an ofna truggy box and over the winter iv only had to use my losi box twice due to loaning to others. it took a sec to get used to but works great
