Default input on assembling losi 8ight comp kit

i am about to sit down and put a losi 8ight competition kit together. and i know there are some thing that should be done in the process. if anyone has some input that would be helpful i would greatly appreciate the knowledge. i would like to do it right the first time. like the radio tray mod, steering, diff, drimmeling.i run the losi 8ight t roller and this will be my first kit. asssembly is not a issue, i am looking for the losi guys that have been there and done that when this first came out. thanks in advance y'all

Get the alluminum rear bearing inserts
Put the HD diff cases in instead of the stock ones
Gethe alluminum center diff bearing insert
make sure you threadlock all screws that thread into metal
grease the ring and pinion gears
grease the center cvds and run them with the cvd condoms

I have done that to my 8ight and it has been running solid for almost 3 years with very little wear or breakage.

You can find all the information you need and some on the 8T 2.0 thread, but if you don't want to read all those pages look at the thread that says something like Things to do on a Losi 8t 2.0 ...........

Default 1.0 thread

if you're looking for the most comprehensive read on the 8ight 1.0 then u must read this:

http://www.rctech.net/forum/nitro-of...ing-setup.html

its 561 pages...took me about a month to go through it but it's worth it...a lot of experienced guys and experiences involved in that thread.

Good luck!
