Default losi eight or mugen mbx-6?

Trying to decide between the two. I think they are both top machines but I have heard that the mugen is more durable and a better buggy over all. I'm new to 1/8 nitro so any thoughts would be appriciated!

I have the mbx-6 and so far its a great buggy! I have driven the old 1.0 Losi(great buggy) but not the new one. I have heard a lot of mixed reviews about the new losi (mostly bad).

I dont think you would be truly be disapointed with either one but i would go with the Mugen.

First is there a chance you can drive both of them to see wich fits your driving style? Both very aggresive buggys, i drove my buddys MBX6, awsome car, i have 2 losi8s and to me are superior over all. To me its all personal preferance. Good luck, be smart and GO LOSI

The Losi have bad reviews becasue the people who brought them didnt listen to everyones advice. There are some issues but easily worked out.
the Mugen is going to be a gooooooood truck when it comes but like some one just said - PARTS - both are good

Me I will say Losi

I have had them both, the losi was a great car but maitence and driving my style did not fit with the losi, the mbx6 is more durable and the overall fit and finish is much better then the losi 8. IMO i would get a mugen over a losi any day.

If you want a buggy, I would go with the MBX-6. I haven't driven one but I've heard good things, and as far as the losi, it's not what it was hyped up to be.

If you want a truggy, the losi 2.0 is by far the best out right now, however the mbx-6t could be better, only time will tell...

I dont mean to be blunt but just get either one and stick with it. Both are very good buggy's. I drive the mugen because to me the car is of better quality and I just like the way mugens drive but that is just my opinion. Also keep in mind does your local hobby shop or track support either car? Good luck.

You have to maintain every car, not just losi cars need maintenance.

Ok one thing - I really dont thing that the Mugen being a really good machine is more durble than the Losi. At our last race, there was alot of mugen buggies and alot of Losi buggies and they all broke. The Amain finished with 2 Losi buggies in 1st and 2nd and Mugen in 3rd and 4th. This was a close race the top 5 were with in mil sec of eac other - so dont read to much in to what Im saying one is not faster than the others. all 5 drivers are GOOD.
