here is my review on the .21 non ABI

I ran the .24 ALPHA for 2 races (big and small track) in my ST-RR now. I like it very much. Easy to tune and great milage (can run >8min). It's like racing the ST-RR with the power feeling of a MP9. No problems to go the same top speed like the .21 engine powered cars.

You wont be dissapointed, the Orion engines have plenty of power.

KThatcher 06-01-2009 09:07 AM

Well i now have about a gallon on the .24 ABI and so far its been very troublesome. Very inconsistent tune either running too fat at 210 and if i lean it out to get a little power it runs at 260. I hope that it still has some breaking in to do if not this engine is going too the back up engine box.. Very sad cause of the price. Now that i have had 2 orion alpha line engines (.21 non ABI and .24 ABI) i must say as an unsponsered, unbiased opinion that these engines are not very good. I bought these due to the fact that they are star/sirio based and i have had a ton of luck with other sirio based engine (werks and trinity). Just my 2 cents.
