I raced my mbx5r that I got bought of the forums for the first time yesterday and it was way looooose.Our track tends to be dry slick/dusty anyway but I spent alot of time counter steering when I hit the throttle.I asked 3 of other mugen drivers and got 5 different answers.I did change the rear toe plate from a 2 to a 2.5 and it seemed to help but it's still a tad ass happy.Should I try a 2.75 or a 3?
Ohh also it tries very hard to die right after refueling....what would be the cause of that?
It's deffinately a different animal than the Sportwerks buggies I usually race

if it tries to die after you pit then your probably to rich on the bottom. if you are squirly goin down the track then i would use different tires.( any dirt dusty track will be kind of squirly.)

2.75 toe/ 2 deg anti squat/ 2.8 rear bar/ hubs lower hole middle in a arm. camber link long and inside middle on tower.
space front arms,upper/lower middle.
5 7 2 diffs, dont use the little s3 orings.
400/350 oil with 1.5 pistons,grey long springs, outer hole on arms center on towers. 2.3 front bar.
with full tank of fuel and body on drop car on bench set ride hight dogbones level

rear droop was 125mm from center of shock screws and the front was 106mm

no problem, make sure the hinge pin locknuts are not tight. leave them loose or it will bind and let me know how the car is after the next time out.
