Default Z-Car ZMXT-8 Z-Truggy

A nice thread for the Z-Car buggy already exists, I figured I would start one for the Truggy.
I am racing the Z-Buggy and Z-Truggy, and our race Team is filling out with Truggys as well!
Ask away, I havent had mine for long but I will be racing it almost every week, and am quite familiar with it.
It has some unique features like the Z-Buggy, and has the legendary durability of it as well!
The Pro Kit

The RTR

Yessir I did, only not finished with the build, it arrived next day air Thursday night; but Degani had his powered by a SH Pro Race .28 8 port, and was running 3rd in the a main and absolutely hauling with it until his front cvd grub screw came out.
I did run it last weekend at pineland rc racetrack in Midville GA in its Grand Opening, I ran Pro Truggy, and 2nd place 43 minutes of a 45 minute main, then flamed out, still got 3rd.
Not too bad for 0 setup/tuning and painting the body until 2am the night before, and starting it for the 1st time 5 minutes before my 1st heat race
I am really looking forward to racing it more, it handles amazingly well, and is flickable like a buggy, but stable like a truggy

Just an FYI, the Pro kit does not include the tires, or pipe like the Pro buggy kit does.
I am trying to get a running change made to include them however, as they are nice.
As well the stock springs are a bit soft, like the buggy, but stiff springs are available and pretty cheap.

Optional superlight Truggy chassis!
Made by material Alum #7075
with CNC cutting, milling and
drilling to approach the lighter design.

Magically lighten your car
without any interference with the strength

i gotta say i really like the approach & design of this machine!

"Z car" or "SH" have done a fantastic job IMO and i would hope that their product's become more readily available so that more people can enjoy them

one of these will find it's way into my garage

What kind of dealer support is there for the Z buggy and truggy here in the states besides ZCarUSA?

Really like what I have seen of both but if parts support isn't there it's going to make it rough.

Paul at z car usa is fantastic with parts support. If anyone buys him out Hobby People also support both cars very well. These days I get most of my stuff on-line and get it in a 3-4 days. I try and support my local shop with fuel, tires, paint, etc but buggy specific parts I'll pick up on line.

By being a single brand specialty shop, we can keep a pretty stout parts inventory. 99% of our in-stock web orders ship the same day, and we have a substantial parts inventory which is growing weekly to better serve the Z-Army, as well as other items needed to support your Z-Buggy or Truggy, like M-11Xs, MX-3 FHSS2s, engines, tires, servos, betteries, chargers, started boxes, etc!
We are a one stop shop for the Z-Car products you can buy a kit and every thing you need to have a race ready buggy or truggy, and offer store pickup or UPS shipping daily, soon to include Fed Ex as an option if they ever get it together.
