I did have a customer email me from the US a week ago. He was looking to get his old ZMXT-8 up and running again. I gave him all of Rick's info and have not heard from him since, so I guess he found what he was looking for.

There are still a few running in the US, and more in Canada. Since the distributor is in Alberta, Canada, that's where most of them are.

Yes I still run them. Both Buggy and Truggy. Nicest rigs to drive, period.

I race on the East Coast of Australia. Sourcing the parts from SH. I have everything I need to keep running for a long time.

Default ZMXT-8 Set Ups

I am getting ready to put a new set up on my ZMXT-8. I was curios if any one else out there had filled out set up sheets for their ZMXT-8. There is not a ton of information on these things. Generally speaking I like the truggy. I had a issue a week or two ago in a half hour long main where the truggy started handling funny after about 15 or 20 minutes of race time plus 2 to 5 minutes of warm up. I think I might have over heated the diff oil. Just curios if anyone else out there has had a similar experience. Currently I am running 7k, 5k, and 3k. I am going to put the set up in the attached thumbnail on my truggy for a big two day race in Cheyenne next weekend. It uses 10k, 15k, and 7k. I would think I should not be able to over heat these. The tracks we run on in Colorado and Wyoming are medium sized, low traction, very dusty and dry, and are usually pretty blown out.

Hi, I still carry a good selection of Z-Car parts in Canada. Check out my website at terranovahobby.ca.
